Terms of Service

Welcome to TacoSkill. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of TacoSkill's website, products, and services (collectively, the "Service"). Please read these Terms carefully before using the Service.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using any part of the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
TacoSkill provides a platform for discovering, creating, testing, and sharing AI agent skills ("Skills"). The Service includes:
- SkillHub: A marketplace to browse and discover AI skills created by the community.
- Playground: An environment to test and experience Skills with various AI providers.
- Create: Tools to generate and customize your own AI skills.
- SkillKit: Developer tools and CLI for managing Skills.
3. User Accounts
To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
- Maintain and promptly update your account information.
- Maintain the security of your account credentials.
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. User Content and Skills
You retain ownership of any Skills and content you create or upload to the Service ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant TacoSkill a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute your User Content in connection with operating and improving the Service.
You represent and warrant that:
- You own or have the necessary rights to your User Content.
- Your User Content does not violate the rights of any third party.
- Your User Content complies with these Terms and all applicable laws.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws.
- Create or distribute Skills that are harmful, malicious, or deceptive.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service.
- Use the Service to transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service without permission.
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation.
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users of the Service.
- Use the Service to generate content that promotes hate, violence, or discrimination.
6. API Keys and Third-Party Services
The Playground feature allows you to use your own API keys from third-party AI providers (such as Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google). You are responsible for:
- Compliance with the terms of service of those third-party providers.
- Any charges incurred through your use of third-party services.
- Keeping your API keys secure and confidential.
TacoSkill is not responsible for the actions of third-party AI providers or the content generated by their services.
7. Points and Usage Limits
The Service may provide free usage credits ("Points") for testing Skills in the Playground. These Points are provided at our discretion and may be subject to limits or expiration. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Points system at any time.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality (excluding User Content), is owned by TacoSkill and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
Skills available on the Service may be subject to various open-source licenses. Please review the license associated with each Skill before use.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
Skills provided by the community are created by third-party users. TacoSkill does not guarantee the accuracy, quality, safety, or suitability of any Skill for your particular purposes.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TACOSKILL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TacoSkill and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the date at the top of these Terms and, in some cases, by providing additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which TacoSkill operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
